I wanted to share a cute card I made with the new stamp set Animal Outing. We were all given this stamp set at OnStage in April. Such a cute fun set with the cutest zoo animals and sentiments! The Suite is called Animal Expedition and also includes a matching set of thinlits, some adorable designer series paper, fun leaf ribbon and some wooden frame elements. Such a really wonderful suite of products!!!
The base of the card is Flirty Flamingo with a layer of Powder Pink that I embossed with the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder. I stamped the cute Kangaroo on one of the stitched ovals in Whisper White and then colored the image with the Stampin' Blends and layered that on a Flirty Flamingo scalloped oval. This was attached to the card using dimensionals. I tied some retired Flirty Flamingo Striped ribbon on the side of the card and added the sentiment with a couple of tiny pearls. I was pleased with how the card came out and sent if off to a sweet little baby named Sophia!
