Stamp of the Month Kit

I've decided to try something new starting the month of April...a stamp of the month kit! Each month I will choose a stamp set to highlight. I will offer a "kit" that will include a stamp set (Aprils's stamp set is "Life is Grand") and the supplies to make the 4 cards pictured. The cost of the April kit will be $25.00 and $8.00 for priority mail shipping. For anyone who lives in the Colorado Springs area you can purchase your kit for $25.00 with porch pickup or you can attend the Stamp of the Month class on April 27th to make your cards. Everything will be precut and packaged with the included tutorial, all you will need to add is your own ink and adhesive. If the stamp set has a coordinating punch or framelits you will have the option of purchasing those to add to your kit, this month it does not. The deadline for registration this month will be April 5th and the "To Go" kits will be mailed by April 16th. For these cards pictured I paired the Life is Grand stamp set with the very bold and pretty Happiness Blooms designer series paper. If you are interested please email me for the registration link here.

We are also in our last week of Sale-A-Bration. Time is running out to purchase the best deal in the catalog with the extra $50 in product! With the starter kit YOU get to choose which Stampin' Up! products you want, and until March 31st you get $175 in product for only $99! You can find more details above under the "Join" tab.

AND starting April 1st we will now be carrying amazing and affordable storage solutions! I'm really excited about this new line of products! I'll have more details on this soon. This is would be a great way to use your 20% discount discount if you purchased the starter kit!

Sweet Stampede Team Blog Hop #009

Welcome to the Sweet Stampede Team Blog Hop...This month our theme is Spring! After all of the snow we have gotten recently in Colorado I am really ready for Spring!

I decided I wanted to use the Butterfly Beauty thinlits with the Shimmer White cardstock. Since I used the more delicate of the dies I also used the adhesive sheets on the back of the cardstock so that I would be able to attach the butterflies to the card front without using messy adhesive.

I also cut out a few more of the butterflies in Tranquil Tide cardstock to layer on top, the Tranquil Tide color coordinates nicely with the piece of the Share What You Love designer series paper that I used. I just attached those additional butterflies with a glue dot so that their wings showed a little movement.

As you can see here I sprayed the Tranquil Tide butterflies with a mixture of the White Frost shimmer paint and rubbing alcohol in one or our spritzers.  It gave them a really nice sparkly shine! I also added some pearls to the butterflies and the background of the card.

I used the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and embossed that in white onto a piece of the Tranquil Tide cardstock, flagged the end with the Tailored Tag punch and used dimensionals to attach it to the card.

Thank you so much for checking out our blog hop!  Next in line is Britney...you do not want to miss her fabulous project...
