I decided to use the Upright Z-Fold design for this card. It's not hard, easy actually, but has a real "WOW" factor to it. This was actually one of the cards that we made at our Stamp Camp a couple of weeks ago. Everyone loved it!
The piece of Night of Navy card stock is folded in half at the 5-1/4" score line and then folded the opposite direction on the 7-1/4" score line to make a "mountain" shape. This piece is then layered onto the front of the Sahara Sand card base. The piece of designer series paper is layered on the largest layer of Night of Navy. The front fold of the card is then decorated how you desire. Hope this all make sense! I really enjoyed making this card. Unfortunately I had not received the amazing High Seas 3D embossing folder in time for this project but I have it now and it would definitely be my folder of choice for the balmy blue circle on the front of this card!
- Sahara Sand Card Base cut to 4-1/4" x 11", folded at 5-1/2"
- Night of Navy Cardstock cut to 4" x 10-1/4", scored at 5-1/4" & 7-1/4"
- Designer Series Paper cut to 3-3/4" x 5"
- Additional scraps in Whisper White, Sahara Sand and Balmy Blue
