The Painted Seasons bundle is fast becoming my favorite Sale-A-Bration item this year. The stamps and coordinating designer series paper work together nicely to make beautiful cards. All you need to add is the sentiment of your choice. The designer series paper has a nature print on one side and a fun geometric pattern on the other.
With these cards I used the Stitched Rectangle framelits to add a little interest. I cut my base cardstock to 4-1/4" x 11" and folded it in half. My designer series paper layer is cut to 4" x 5-1/4". I used the second largest of the rectangle dies and centered it onto the piece of designer series paper and then ran it through the big shot.
I then took the inside cut out and flipped it over to reveal the opposite side of the paper and attached them to another layer of cardstock cut to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" with tear tape placed along the inside cut edge.
Then I just wrapped a piece of the poppy parade ribbon around the piece, layered it on the card base with some dimensionals, added a sentiment and some of the images from the stamp set that have been cut out with the Four Seasons framelits. These framelits will be available to purchase on March 1st. Here are a few of the cards I made using the same technique but with the different papers.
This mushroom paper is my absolute favorite!!
